SAUERKRAUT SATURDAY

Fermented vegetables are full of flavour and health giving probiotics. Participants
will learn the techniques of preparing a variety of sauerkraut using red and green
cabbages, beets and carrots to take home.

CHRISTMAS BAKE DOWN

Start the Xmas season by doing some batch baking. With recipes provided, participants will choose two selections from a list of baked cookies, bars and squares to prepare. The baked items will be shared among the participants so that everyone has an equal variety of baking to take home. Bring your own containers or cookie tins.

SUPER SOUPS & STEWS
Tuesday Evenings
Warm up with hearty and wholesome soups. With a focus on vegetables grain and legumes, participants will prepare a variety of soups or stews using herbs, spices and natural seasonings to
highlight flavours. As time permits, participants will also prepare soup accompaniments such as croutons and breadsticks, breads and soup toppings.

WORKSHOP: PUMPKIN SATURDAY CELEBRATION
Save your Halloween pumpkins and join us in preparing nourishing pumpkin condiments, soups or stews and/or baking and learn about the value in consuming this vegetable or fruit. If you don't have a pumpkin to bring it will be provided.
